2012 July C20 What Every CEO Needs To Know About Taxes

Governments are looking for money.  Americans are taxed on their global income regardless of where they live.  Residents of Japan are taxed on their global income no matter where they are from.  Wealthy French are moving to other countries with the change in government.  Taxation on corporations varies greatly in the nations.  Taxes are a complicated but a necessary part of living in this world.

Nearly everyone is guilty of paying a ‘stupid tax’ for something they did but didn’t realize there was tax implications in business or personal areas.  In the July C20 CEO meeting, we will be discussing the triumphs and trials of taxation.  There’s no doubt you will come out of the meeting with

-Insights on Japanese Tax Laws
-Ideas for better managing your personal taxation
-A fresh vision on what your company should be thinking about in working with governments

  • Strengthening relations amongst a cross-cultural executive team
  • Cascading company vision down to all levels in the firm
  • Empowering local talent to take a more global leadership role

C20 CEO Luncheon May 2012-Securing And Protecting The Enterprise

Corporate Security can take the form of many practices.  Physical access to company facilities, handling of company documentation, computer management, and even possibly managing and being prepared for potential disgruntled workers.  Is it necessary to the Japanese privacy mark,  an ISO rating or some other certification?  What about day to day operations?

At the May C20 luncheon, we will be discussing how, we as management, can secure our assets both intellectual an physical.  This topic has been a hot topic and continued for a second month in the past.
