Dec C20 Luncheon- The Perfect Organization/2013 Wrap Up

** Please note venue change**
As yet another new year closes, many executive offices are reviewing what worked and what didn’t, what sold and what didn’t,  what blew up and what overflowed.  In addition to national responsibility, many of our member CEOs have other countries in Asia as well as Australia/New Zealand reporting to them.  How can we organize our teams for success?  Should Japan be a part of APAC or a separate entity?

In the Dec CEO luncheon we’ll be closing the year with one of our most popular meetings and 12 months of insights from Japan’s top executives.

Date- Friday, 13 Dec 2013 1230PM-1400PM
**Venue-
Maharajah Restaurant (New Melsa Building- 7F)

March 2010 C8 Luncheon- We’ve Got Talent

C8, We’ve Got Talent! Open Issues Discussion
For the March meeting, we’ll focus on what we are best at.  Sharing helpful C-Level information with our peers.  Every CEO at our roundtable has had an issue that seemed insurmountable.  However, you were able to overcome and achieve great results through that challenge.
There is talent and great experience in our meetings.  We’re asking you to bring and issue that you dealt with and how you overcame it.
If you have a question about some particular issue that you are experiencing now, this could be a perfect time to ask the elite C8 group, all off the record.  Issues that may come up are
-Dealing with Japanese taxes
-Hiring and Firing
-How to determine if you’ve got the right candidate
-Developing yourself as the CEO
-Global business issues to be aware of
-Managing Quality
The list goes on, but the time doesn’t.  Looking forward to another productive C8 Luncheon meeting.

December 2009- CEO Roundtable

In the close of 2009, the CEO Luncheon has had one of its most productive years ever.  We have been meeting for 5 years and have seen incredible growth both in knowledge and the quality of the meetings.

The December meeting is the CEO luncheon in its purity.  A discussion among business leaders in Japan and a chance to learn from other peers.

Please think about and bring a question that you would like answered by the power of the group and the experience.  Questions could be something such as-

1) I am planning to move office, what is the most important thing to watch out for?  2) I have a trouble employee, what is the best way to terminate employment of someone in Japan?  3) I want to get my new manager quickly accepted by his team.  What can I do to expedite that?  4) What are some obvious ways to cut expenses?  5) What are some common mistakes of the ‘gaijin boss’ in Japan?

Bring your question, but also be ready to answer questions as well.  That is the beauty of CEOL.

We will close the meeting with a quick brain-storm on topics and venues for 2010.

Please note the restaurant is the Italian this month.  Under the reservation of Mr. Phil Rubel.

See you there!

April 2009- CEO Lunch- Developing Yourself As CEO

Topic –  Developing Yourself As A CEO

We pleased to have our second meeting at the Roppongi Hills Club.  It is our best venue with great food to date.
April is the time when some of our New Year’s resolutions may have begun to worn off.  However, as a CEO we can’t let our guards down and have to continue to provide direction.  In times of economic turmoil, this is even more pertinent.  One of has said, CEO’s need to be leaders not just managers.  As CEO, people in our organizations are relying on us.  Many of our best people really become reflections of the management.  It doesn’t stop there as most employees are raising a family reliant on are firms: There are many people reliant on our leadership.
Our leadership and the culture we create at our firms can make a huge difference in how our teams perform.  How do we develop ourselves to be a true leader?  What areas does a CEO need to be thinking about?
Please join us another excellent luncheon of Tokyo’s leading CEOs.
