March 26- 8AM – Showing Direction & Leadership During The Corona Threat

Nearly every company we’ve dealt with is sending out position statements regarding corona virus that has spread around the world from Wuhan China.  Businesses in tourism, airlines, hospitality, sporting events, and even retail have been hammered by the social distancing.  When trouble comes, that’s when you can see what people are made of.  It goes for the same for the CEO and the c-suite.  Unfortunately, we didn’t learn in university or even business school about how to respond to terrorism, natural disasters, or even pandemics.

This special CEO Insights breakfast event will be a collaborative gathering of c-levels hosted by CI chairman Spencer Wolfe with presentations by Mr. Ross Rowbury of Edelman Japan.

Edelman has produced a special edition of the Trust Barometer focusing on coronavirus communications. There are a lot of good datapoints in this. The overall conclusion is that employees are looking to business and their employer to provide high quality information and make the necessary workstyle changes. As always, on some datapoints Japan differs from the rest of the world.

We will also pull in other members with special insights on dealing with the threat.
