Commerce has come a long way since the first coins were minted by the Romans, the Israelis, or the Greeks.  The world has gone from metal-based currency to paper bills representing Gold-backed money notes.  Commerce has been drastically affected by the roll out of the internet.  Things no longer need to be purchased in person, but can be purchased in virtual store fronts and received at a buyers home or business the next day, or in some cases even the same day.  One of the major influences of our time has been an online company called Facebook.  Facebook has aggressively expanded with acquisitions of Whatapp, Instagram, and various other virtual and material businesses eventually renaming itself META.  Businesses and individuals promote their services on Meta platforms while the company expands it’s businesses around the globe.  Japan is part of a large business market for Meta in the Asia Pacific Region.
