April 2009- CEO Lunch- Developing Yourself As CEO

Topic –  Developing Yourself As A CEO

We pleased to have our second meeting at the Roppongi Hills Club.  It is our best venue with great food to date.
April is the time when some of our New Year’s resolutions may have begun to worn off.  However, as a CEO we can’t let our guards down and have to continue to provide direction.  In times of economic turmoil, this is even more pertinent.  One of has said, CEO’s need to be leaders not just managers.  As CEO, people in our organizations are relying on us.  Many of our best people really become reflections of the management.  It doesn’t stop there as most employees are raising a family reliant on are firms: There are many people reliant on our leadership.
Our leadership and the culture we create at our firms can make a huge difference in how our teams perform.  How do we develop ourselves to be a true leader?  What areas does a CEO need to be thinking about?
Please join us another excellent luncheon of Tokyo’s leading CEOs.

September CEO Luncheon- Outsmarting Vs Outspending The Competition In Advertizing

In advertizing, outsmarting versus outspending the competition is not something many think about. Given the current economic situation in Japan, this rings even more true.

This strategy development is the founding principle of Fallon: using creativity to help clients outsmart rather than outspend their competitors.

Key discussion points will be:

– mass vs targeted media

– “Connection Planning”: integrated communication planning based on how consumers consume media

– the importance of “total brand experience”

The September CEO Luncheon brings Phil Rubel, the Managing Director of Fallon, to our executive luncheon.  Phil is a native of Canadian with much experience in Japan.

Date- 26 September 2008
